Purpose and Date of Establishment
Purpose of Establishment
The purpose of the Korean Ceramic Society (KCerS) is to contribute to the promotion of science and technology by development and dissemination of science and technology related to ceramics and other materials for benefits of the general public.
In order to achieve the purpose of the Korean Ceramic Society, the following projects shall be carried out.- Holding conferences, lectures and classes
- Publication of journals, academic publications and books
- Encouragement of research and recognition of outstanding achievements
- International academic exchange
- Activities for standardization and revision of ceramics and related fields
- Collection and exchange of academic achievement
- Financial support for students majoring in ceramics and related materials
